"One cannot divine nor forecast the conditions that will make happiness; one only stumbles upon them by chance, in a lucky hour, at the world's end somewhere, and holds fast to the days, as to fortune or fame."

Diplomacy, intellectual discussion, and resolution of problems facing the citizens of Earth is more becoming of an advanced, civilized race of beings (human); I see the importance of abolishing politics in certain areas of world governance. That is to say, that there is a great need for certain matters having to do with the state of our being, to be handled not by cronies in shady political circles, but by transparent, well-functioning democratic systems. Political representation of people is supposed to involve the people's will, not consent through intimidation, and animalistic bullying techniques. Through media dominance, intimidation, and other coercive means, those rogue elements have attempted to undermine, and make a mockery of any truly valid democratic progress. We have reached a point in our evolution and progress, where the old systems that have sustained us need to be altered in order for us to be able to further pursue our potential.

Shocking Results from National Poll: Dennis Kucinich Leading Democrats
(6 months ago)
Usually, when people are talking about the Democratic contenders for the 2008 presidential campaign, the names heard most often are Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards. They seem to be getting the most press, anyway.
But apparently none of the three have made the best impression.
In a press release just issued on prnewswire, Dennis Kucinich has won a startling first place nationally among Democratic candidates in a national poll. He was first place in 41 of the 50 states. The results were released just last night, late, by Democracy For America. (DFA).
There were 150,000 ballots cast, and of the total number, Kucinich received more votes than Senator Barack Obama and former Senator John Edwards combined. Kucinich won 31.97% which factored out to be 49,364 votes. Edwards took 15.6% of the votes, which was 24,078 in number. Obama came in at 13.86% and 21,403 votes, and a surprising last place of the four was taken by Senator Hilary Clinton. She received 4.21% of the votes, or 6,504.
Kucinich took the early-voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. In South Carolina, which is also an early-voting state, he came in second to Barack Obama, but only by less than one-half of one percent.
New York, Connecticut, West Virginia, New Jersey, Florida and Tennessee were "won" by undeclared Democratic write-in Al Gore. Surprisingly, he scored second over-all, nationally, at 24.77%. In all of the states in which Al Gore came in first, Kucinich ranked second.
The only states that Obama won were South Carolina and his home state of Illinois. Edwards won only in the state of Washington, in which Kucinich also came in second.
In other polls Kucinich is coming in fourth, second in a California straw poll, and in New Hampshire he is tied for fourth along side New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. There he is also just seven points behind Edwards. Kucinich is expected to comment on these results on Wednesday, November 7th."
